Three weeks of Ally Pally on the Kai.

The World Championship at Alexandra Palace is the loudest tournament of the year – and it works far better in a busy bar than alone at home. We show every session live with sound and commentary, from the first round to the final. Play runs daily; only between 24 and 27 December does the tournament pause in London – we stay open right through.

Worth knowing: the 8 pm evening sessions are the busy ones – especially New Year’s Eve, the semi-finals and the final. Book ahead if you want a guaranteed seat. Walk-ins usually work too, just not in the front row.

Four hours of darts need feeding.

An evening session rarely runs under three hours. Handmade smashburgers, wings and finger food are served until 11 pm – so through most of the night. Plus cold beer on tap and what many call the best burger in Vienna.

When the tournament pauses, football takes over.

The World Championship pauses in London from 24 to 27 December. We stay open right through – those nights we show the Premier League, the Bundesliga and, on the 27th, the NFL. The screens stay on.

Frequently asked questions about the darts.

When is the 2026/27 World Darts Championship?

From 11 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 at Alexandra Palace in London. Two sessions are played daily; only between 24 and 27 December does the tournament pause. The final is on Sunday 3 January.

What time do the sessions start?

The afternoon session starts at 2 pm Vienna time, the evening session at 8 pm. A session runs three to five hours depending on the number of matches, so the evening session often goes past midnight.

Do I need to book?

Recommended, especially at weekends and for the final. Entry is free, but on busy nights the seats in front of the big screens go quickly.

Is the sound on?

Yes. Darts lives on the crowd and the commentary – we run the sound on the big screens.

Can I play darts at your place?

No, we don’t have dartboards. You watch the World Championship here on big screens – for playing you’ll need somewhere else.

Are you open over Christmas?

Yes, right through – daily from noon to midnight. We don’t close over Christmas. Only the tournament in London pauses from 24 to 27 December; on those days we show the Premier League, the Bundesliga and the NFL on the 27th.

Is there food during the session?

The kitchen is open until 11 pm – smashburgers, wings and finger food run through half the evening session.

Can we come as a group?

Yes. For eight or more, call ahead and we’ll put you at a table with a good view. For larger groups there is the club room with its own screen.
